Pope John Paul II Catholic High School is seeking a faith-filled, organized, and welcoming professional to serve as our School Secretary. The ideal candidate will be highly relational, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting the mission of Catholic education while helping ensure the smooth daily operation of our school community.
As the first point of contact for students, parents, faculty, and visitors, the School Secretary plays an important role in creating a warm, professional, and service-oriented environment.
Primary Responsibilities

Serve as the front office receptionist and primary point of contact for visitors, students, parents, and faculty

Manage phone calls, emails, and daily office communication

Assist with student attendance, records, and general office organization

Support school administrators and faculty with clerical and operational needs
-
Coordinate scheduling, appointments, and front office logistics
-
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions

Assist with school events, communications, and special projects as needed

Support a positive and faith-centered school culture
Qualifications
-
High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
-
Prior office, administrative, or school experience preferred
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education
