Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Development or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in early childhood leadership or administration
- Minimum of 3 years of classroom teaching experience in early childhood settings
- Deep knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practice
- Demonstrated experience with state licensing and regulatory compliance
- Strong leadership, organizational, and administrative skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Genuine love for children and passion for early learning
- Ability to build trusting relationships with children, families, and faculty

Responsibilities
- The Director of Early Childhood oversees the daily operations, staffing, and vision of St. Andrew the Apostle's Early Childhood Program, ensuring a safe, developmentally appropriate, and joyful learning environment for our youngest learners
- The Director works closely with School Leadership and collaborates with faculty, families, and administrators to uphold the mission and values of St. Andrew the Apostle
- Provides leadership and supervision for the Early Childhood faculty members and classrooms
- Oversees the daily operations and administration of The Early Childhood Program
- Recruits, mentors, supervises, and evaluates early childhood staff in collaboration with the Principal
- Serves as the primary point of communication between Early Childhood and families
- Develops, implements, and communicates policies and procedures aligned with Louisiana Department of Education and state licensing requirements
- Ensures full compliance with all state licensing regulations, including documentation, inspections, audits, and ongoing reporting
- Maintains accurate records required for state licensing and regulatory compliance
- Protect the health, safety, and well-being of all children in The St. Andrew the Apostle Early Childhood Program
- Ensurse a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility
- Schedules and oversees required trainings, including CPR, First Aid, and ongoing professional development in accordance with state requirements
- Collaborates with the Director of Admissions on tours, enrollment, and age-appropriate classroom placement
- Assissts with financial oversight and budgeting related to St. Andrew the Apostle's Early Children Program
