St. Louis King of France - STEM Teacher
St. Louis King of France School is seeking a full-time STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) teacher to join our faculty for the 2026-2027 school year.
Mission
The mission of St. Louis King of France School, in coordination with the Church and home, is to provide a Catholic education for its students in an environment that fosters academic excellence and Gospel values. St. Louis King of France School seeks to educate the whole child in preparation for a Catholic secondary education and life's daily experiences.
Position
The STEM teacher will design and deliver engaging, hands-on learning experiences that integrate science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. This role encourages innovation and problem-solving while fostering a love of discovery in students.
The role calls for an educator who is passionate about inspiring students, integrating cross-curricular learning, and creating an environment where students can explore, create, and think critically.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a dynamic STEM curriculum aligned with school standards
- Facilitate hands-on, project-based learning experiences
- Integrate technology and innovative tools into instruction
- Foster creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking skills
- Create a positive, structured, and engaging classroom environment
- Collaborate with faculty to support cross-curricular connections
- Support the Catholic mission of the school through word and example
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education
- Teaching certification (or working toward certification)
- Experience in STEM, or project-based learning preferred
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills
- A passion for working with children and fostering their growth
- Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education
