The Fr. James A. Tarantino Awards have been established to recognize individuals, businesses and entities who have made a difference in the lives of both the Holy Rosary family and the greater New Orleans community. 

Joey M. Scaffidi, AFSC, president and principal of Christian Brothers School, was named an affiliate of the Brothers of Christian Schools in a special affiliation ceremony at the school October 26, 2011.
